Dr. Haley Hawes is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with years of experience working with elite athletes and passionately provides evidence-based patient-centered care. She currently works per diem for Red Bull North America at their Athlete Performance Center in Santa Monica, California. At the APC, she works with professional athletes that are sponsored by Red Bull, including Olympic gold medalists in various sporting disciplines. When she is not working at the APC, she provides physical therapy and on-field rehabilitation for collegiate and high school soccer players recovering from sports injuries. In addition, Dr. Hawes provides in-home physical therapy sessions to patients with various musculoskeletal conditions.  

Dr. Hawes obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marymount University. While at Marymount, she worked at Georgetown University Hospital, as well as at Joint Base Andrews where she assessed, treated, and cleared active duty members of The United States Armed Forces. She learned skills and techniques that were highly efficient and effective to help the individuals return to their duties as soon as possible.

Prior to physical therapy school, Dr. Hawes graduated with honors from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology Exercise Science and a minor in Business Management. While at CSUN, she was a goal keeper and 3-year captain of the university’s Division I women’s soccer team, leading the team that won the Big West Conference Tournament and went on to the NCAA tournament. Additionally, she interned with  CSUN’s strength and conditioning program, where she assisted in the training of many of CSUN’s D1 collegiate athletes. During the summer months, she played semi-professional soccer for Santa Clarita Blue Heat. Dr. Hawes has over 10 years of experience coaching soccer players of all ages and continues to train players both on and off the field.
